Mountasia Party ~ Narrative Paragraph
My name is Sky Guy, and I went to Mountasia for my friend's birthday party. When I got there I ate lunch. I ate pizza, popcorn, and cake pops. It tasted good.Then everyone played miniature golf. It took about an hour to finish the game. My favorite part of the course was a big cave you went in and either hit the ball up a hill or down through a valley. The cave looked like a real cave that would have bats in it. Then we went on the bumper boats. We soaked each other with the water guns on the boats. The weather was hot even though it's January, so we didn't get cold, and it felt refreshing! then we rode the go carts. I was big enough to drive my own go cart and it was really fun. One of the kids driving bumped in to me and I spun around and was facing the wrong direction. Then a double car hit me in the side and almost knocked me in the side of the cave thing. But I was ok and got to drive around more. After that, we went inside to play video games. I played a lot of video games and won lots of tickets. My favorite game was ski-ball. I also got tickets because the manager made it "snow" tickets. She threw lots of tickets everywhere and I got a lot of them! I got 165 tickets total and traded them in for a candy hotdog, and 3 ninjas. I got a goody bag with candy, a Lego club magazine, and popcorn in it. I want to go back to Mountasia again someday because it was awesome!

Descriptive Essay ~ Legos
Most Americans at least have seen a Lego brick. A lot of people have their own Lego collection. A long time ago, my mom got a big tub of Legos from my grandma. They used to belong to my uncle when he was a kid. My mom stored them until I was old enough to play with them. Then my mom bought some Star Wars Legos from a garage sale. I also got some Lego sets for my birthday. I bought some from the store, and got some others for Christmas. My Lego collection is awesome!
A couple months ago, I bought 2 Lego Ninjago sets. I have 2 spinners and 10 cards. Spinners are used for a game that you play. They are heavy and look kind of like a miniature bowl. You put a figure on the middle of the spinner and spin them at the other player. The character that stays on the spinner, wins. If both of the characters fall off or stay on, that's a tie and you have to spin again.
For my birthday I got a Lego Alien Conquest set, a "Man Eating Teddy Bear" set, a Star Wars Advent Calendar, and a Lego Star Wars Snow Speeder set. The Alien Conquest set has a alien walker, alien clinger, and an alien soldier. There is also a guy with 2 faces. A happy face and you can turn it around to give him a scared face. The "Man Eating Teddy Bear" set is really a Star Wars Ewoks set. It has a tree with a missile, a speeder, 2 Ewoks, and a storm trooper. The Star Wars advent calender had a bunch of mini kits, and some minifigures. The minifigures were Newt Gunray, a storm trooper, Santa Yoda, a Battle droid, Oddball, and Chewbacca. The Star Wars Snow Speeder set has 4 storm troopers, a secret base, and a snow speeder.
About a month ago I bought a Lego book that comes with a bunch of Lego bricks and 2 minifigures. The book shows you a bunch of different ways to use the bricks and build stuff. For Christmas I got a set of Lego mini kits and an Atlantis mini set from Mona. I got 2 Lego Dino sets and a Star Wars Medallion set from Grandma Bunny and Papa Bear! My mom, dad, sister, and I all built with my lego mini kits. We built a frog, truck, car, dinosaur, boat, whale, helicopter, and an army jet. I built the Atlantis squid by myself. Me and my Daddy built the Lego dinosaur sets. They are awesome! They came with Lego dinosaurs. We built a giant truck that has a dino trap with a chicken drum stick at the end of it. I built a jeep by myself. I also built the Lego Star Wars Medallion warrior set by myself. It has a speeder, machine gun, sniper cannon, and jet pack guy.
I also got a Lego ideas book from my parents. It shows you tons of Lego models that you can build if you have the right pieces. It also shows you if you don't have certain pieces which different pieces you can use instead. If you don't have many Lego bricks, you can make micro kits, which are like mini kits.
I have been collecting Legos for years now. You can start a collection by finding something you like. Over a long period of time, you can get a big collection. I like my Lego collection because I can build anything I want.
